RIK MAYALL

("Resthome" Ricky)

Rik Mayall as Resthome Ricky

SHORT BIOGRAPHY:

Rik Mayall was born March 7, 1958 in Droitwich, UK.  His eyes are blue, his height is 5' 11".  Before he married, his ex-girlfriend was Lise Mayer (imagine how little she would have need to change her last name had she married him).  In 1985, he married Barbara, and they are still married today.  They have 3 children together: Rosie (born 1987), Sydney (1989) and Bonnie (1996).  He has experience in films, theater, and television.  He is connected to the 1996 play "Cell Mates" on West End, but I'm not sure how he was connected (i.e. writer, star).  The play was short-lived, because co-star Stephen Fry became depressed and ran away after reading the bad reviews.  He is a writer, as well.  He has several writing credits.  "Shock Treatment" was his first venture into acting.  Next year, in 2000, he will appear in the new film called "Blackadder Back and Forth.  He can be reached through his agent, Ms. Aude Powell at 169 Queens Gate, Suite 8a, London, SW7 5HE.  For further information on Rik Mayall, I recommend the following websites:
